Just had my widom teeth pulled... ?!

Question: Just had my widom teeth pulled!.!.!. !?
Plus another tooth that planted itself in the front of my jaw, and all four wisdom teeth were impacted!.

Just a quick question: at 8:15 am today (Saturday), it'll be day 3 post-extraction!.!.!. Is it still possible for me to get a dry socket!?

I'm in pain, but it's not too severe!. How's the pain for a dry socket!? And do you bleed more so when you have a dry socket!?

Any info would be great!.!.!.!. Before I fall asleep from the Vicodin again!. :/Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Actually you are at the time when most dry sockets occur!. A dry socket is when a clot fails to form in the socket where your tooth was pulled or a clot that has formed falls out leaving exposed bone!. You would know if you had a dry socket because they are very very painful!. You do not bleed more when you have a dry socket because the problem is a lack of a clot!.

Also, at during this time frame you shouldn't really need to rely on the Vicodin anymore!. You should be able to get by with just motrin or advil, maybe taking a Vicodin right before bed to help with sleep!.

Hope that helps, best of luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
