Metal things around my molars?!

Question: Metal things around my molars!?

I've had braces for about 3 years, and my teeth are perfectly straight to me!. But today, they just put in these metal things around my molars!. What are they used for!? It bugs the hell outta me because I'm going to head to high school in a bit!. When am i gonna get them off!.!. they won't tell me!

Once your braces are removed, your teeth have to be supported with retainers to hold them in place and make sure they do not shift one way or the other!. You will have to wear them at night from now on if you want your teeth to continue to be straight and beautiful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
