How much toothpaste should I use?!
Question: How much toothpaste should I use!?
I've just started using a tube of toothpaste that came in a box with a picture on the side showing a toothbrush with a squirt of toothpaste over all the bristles!. Do I really need to use that much at once!? Usually I use just a dab -- about half the size of a pea!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If the small amount you use is enough to foam up and cover all your teeth then its probably enough!.!.!.For my manual toothbrush I use about 1cm of toothpaste, about 2 peas worth!.!.!.lol!.!.!.if I use my electric toothbrush I use less somewhere between 1/2-1 peas sized dollop!.!.!.!.I am pretty sure its brushing technique not amount of toothpaste that is important and do it for around 2 minutes too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well i assume that no one needs to use the amount they use on the side of the box, they just want you to use it up quickly so you can buy more!!!-that's my theory anyway!

Toothpaste is just to make it taste nice!. It may have a small amount of abrasive effect but, really, all you need is a dry brush!. It's the brushing that does the job!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yeah you really do need that much because other wise you won't have enough tooth paste to cover all your teeth!.

You should be using a strip that covers the bristles, two centimetres long or something like that!. The pea-sized amount is recommended for a young child!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
lol, um, I read on a mini pamphlet on brushing and it said to use toothpast e as much as a size of a pea!. lol!.
