Rash after getting fillings?!

Question: Rash after getting fillings!?
I have been getting a lot of dental work done, and went for two front fillings yesterday!. I got four shots of Novacaine in my front gums!. When I got home I noticed a red rash on my upper chest and some small welts just below!. It didn't itch or anything, but I have a headache and don't feel fabulous this morning!. Is it possible I'm allergic to the Novacaine/whichever anesthetic he used!? I know I'm not allergic to the latex gloves, I used to work in a nursing home and wore them all the time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
That is very possible!. You should probably call the dentist to let them know about the rash, so they can make appropriate adjustments with anesthetics next appointment!. Also ask them about taking Benadryl for the rash!. I would call them sooner rather than later!. Of course if you have any difficulty breathing or other symptoms you are concerned about, you should go to the emergency room!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
