Question: Are there different types of teeth cleaning!?
My husband and I went to our dentist yesterday for a checkup and a cleaning!. It had been a few years since we had went so we know our teeth needed to be cleaned!. After they took our X-Rays the hygienist looked at our teeth and reported a bunch of numbers to another hygienist!. They she told us we would have to schedule another time to come back for a check-up and the cleaning since it would take an hour to do!. She said there are three types of cleaning!. I guess I had never heard of that before!. Is this something new dentists are doing or are they trying to rake us over the coals!? Kinda unhappy that we already took off work and made the appointments for cleaning and check-ups and they didn't do anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can have a regular cleaning which takes about 45 minutes!. Then there is deep cleaning or scaling and root planing!. This is done to treat periodontal disease!. Some dentist do this when it is not indicated!. My advice to you would be to go to a periodontitst!. They can tell you if it is needed!. I suggest that you have to be patient and explore more when you go back have they given you date to go back!? I do not think they will mess up with your time, without you they won't be paid the firm will get closed they need customers like you and me darling, thus why they never give you all information about keep yourself healthy, you have problem they have money you do not have problem their pockets are empty full of tissues dust!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
