Coming back from the dentist with pain, is it normal?!

Question: Coming back from the dentist with pain, is it normal!?
This afternoon I had a filling replaced on a back tooth!. The local anesthesia is now gone and I feel no pain!.!.!.!.!.except when I decided to eat a little something tonight and felt pain when chewing on that side (tuna sandwich, nothing hard)!.

The pain is sharp like if I'm hitting a nerve!.

I would check with the dentist tomorrow to make sure the filling is in there right!. Was there infection before you had it filled because that could make it hurt worse after a filling!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Had a tooth extracted this morning and small filling, mouth is sore have avoided chewing on that side, have been taking ibuprofen every 4hrs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
