When is it okay to eat after wisdom tooth extraction?!

Question: When is it okay to eat after wisdom tooth extraction!?
So about 10 hours ago, I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed!. I still have blood leaching through the clots and dying my saliva red!. Is this maybe an indicator that I should stay away from food for another couple hours!? Or can I eat that cottage cheese that I bought earlier today!?

thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I ate like an hour after I got my wisdom teeth out, and it was solid food, but then again I have a freakishly high tolerance for pain so whatever!. IMO, if your mouth doesn't hurt too much and you avoid getting food in the sockets you should be fine eating now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you feel well enough to eat and the doctor didn't gice you specific instructions, then eat!.

Just don't suck through a straw!. You can pop those clots right out by doing so!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you can have liquid things like slim fast

but make sure you try to drink it straight down your throat not hitting the cavitiesWww@Answer-Health@Com

i say for now u should have soup and anything very soft
i think cottage cheese should be ok but i would stick to liquids for a day or 2
thats wat i didWww@Answer-Health@Com
