Don't choose any dark color!. It'll take time for people to get used to seeing you in braces and you'll look a little funny!. Dark colors will contrast with your pearly whites, and if it were me I wouldn't want people staring at my mouth!.
I remember when this dude in my class got braces he looked so weird!. Plus, they were black so it looked like he had tar in his mouth (haha)!.

I loved having light blue braces, they some how made my teeth look whiter!. Don't do clear, white, yellow, orange, or any dark colors!. It makes your teeth look really dirty, or look like you have food in them!.
