Answers:
May just be a "maxillary torus"!. This is just extra bone!. It usually shows up after adolescence!. May be caused by grinding/clenching!. It is permanent and not a problem unless you would need dentures later in life!. It may be sore just because you traumatized it while eating something!. If this does not sound like what it is - you might want to consult your dentist!. He/she will refer you to an oral surgeon if it needs to be checked out!. Generally, any kind of sore in the mouth will resolve itself within 7 to 10 days - so if it has been 3 days already and it's still sore in a week - that's probably what you should do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like an ulcer, let it run it's course which usually takes about 7-10 days!. In the mean time, you can do some salt water rinses and use orajel to help numb it!. Make sure to stay away from sweet, salty and/or acidic foods!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
