My braces wire fell out of the tube?!

You need to go back to your orthodontist and have them put it back in!. It takes a special instrument to do this!. I would never recommend that you try to correct any problems with your braces on your own!. While this wire is out basically your braces are not doing the job they are designed to do!. You are spending a lot of money to fix your teeth and you do not want to do anything that may cause a delay in treatment or mess your treatment up!. Anytime you are having trouble with any part of your braces!.!.!.always go to your orthodontist!. Braces are complicated and if you are not trained in all the areas of orthodontics, then you could really mess up something!. Call your orthodontist first thing Monday morning and tell them what has happened and you need to be worked in that day!. Tell them that the the wire is out and that should get you in right away as a loose wire breaking could be a health hazard!. In the meantime if it is poking you in the cheek or gum get some orthodontic dental wax and place a small amount over the end of the wire to protect your cheek and gum!.

That happened to me too and I didn't know how to get it back in!. It happened on a Friday and my ortho is always closed on Fri-Sun, but I called the emergency number to see if they could come in and fix it for me, but they said it wasn't a big deal and to just come in on Monday!. I did and they put it back in just a couple of minutes!.

I would just call your ortho and ask what to do, they'll be able to fix it for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
