When they used to put needles in my mouth they usually put it in the back of my mouth, where my jaw meets!. It depends where your tooth is decaying, if its in the front you will need to get it on the top of the inside of your lip!. That happened to my friend when she had to get a root canal on her front tooth cuz it was dead(literally dead:)) They only keep the needle in your mouth for about fifteen seconds, depending on if your mouth is numb or not!. They had to numb my mouth three times once because they didn't get all the way, but that only happened once!. You should be okay other than that!.!.!. just try to ignore the needle, try to think of something that is on your mind, that usually works for me!. Good luck and just remember it only going to happen for a few seconds and its gonna be over!!:):)Www@Answer-Health@Com

well depending where the tooth is, its near the outer cheek area inside ur mouth next to the tooth's gum!. It feels like a stinging/burning pinch that last like 5-10 secs!. then it numbs up around the area where u were injected!. Ur always gonna feel something, but im sorry to say it varies by the way the dentist inserts the needle!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
