Is 30 years of age too old to get braces?!
Question: Is 30 years of age too old to get braces!?
I am thinking about getting brace before the winter is out!. My parents could not afford them when I was growing up so now that I am in a position to pay for them myself, I'm really thinking about is!. My teeth are not bad at all but they could be pulled in and straightened out a little bit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First, some background!. I''m an old man, and my "wisdom teeth" came in in my late teenage years WITHOUT any pain!. Although I had heard of wisdom tooth problems, I was waiting for the pain to indicate the proper time to have them removed!. Since there was no pain, I just didn't pay attention!.
No dentist made any mention of the fact that there was not room in my jaw to allow proper fit, which very slowly and without warning pushed all my other permanent teeth forward causing misalignment and "overlapping!."
Finally, when I was in the Army [at 25-26], the dentist recommended removal, which we did!. I asked about using braces to realign my crooked permanent teeth, since there was then plenty of room for all of my permanent teeth, but the answer was that at "my age" it was impossible to correct the misalignment because the bone had "already set!."
The misaligned teeth limited the proper dental cleaning, flossing, etc!., which over many years resulted in Periodontal disease, eventually with the loss of several teeth and underlying bone structure!. Now, after it is truly too late, we find out that braces can be used successfully at almost any age!.
I strongly recommend that you go for the entire recommended braces program!. Not only will it improve your appearance, it can help to preserve the health of your teeth, gums, and underlying bone structure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm 33!. I currently have braces!. I was not a good candidate for invisalign, so I have white brackets!. Honestly - it's not fun, but it will be worth it in the end!.
