It is OK for my wife to re-use my dental floss?!

Question: It is OK for my wife to re-use my dental floss!?
I rinse each strand off and allow it to dry on a dish!. I think it's wasteful to use it only once!. It's also quite expensive and my teeth and gums are in better shape than hers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
No that is disgusting! You can spread periodontal disease to her by letting her use your old floss! Buy new floss! Only use new pieces!
Buy the store brand!. Look for 100 yards or more!. It is usually $1!.50 to 1!.99 for 100 yards store brand!.

But if you insist on reusing it (you shouldnt) then at least rinse the floss, then soak it in mouthwash containing alcohol OR in antibacterial denture cleanser tablets!. Soak for 15 mins then rinse again and air dry it!. But I suggest if you want to reuse floss then You have your OWN pile and have your wife use a fresh piece and have her own reused pile!.
The problem is that you are sharing it!. Dont share it!. You shouldnt let her put something in her mouth that was in your mouth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Bacteria can still survive on dry things!. The germs and bacteria transferred from your hands can live on toilet paper, dry sinks and counters!.!.!.anything you touch!. So why would you expect that just rinsing the floss, after it has been digging chunks of rotting food from your teeth will not transfer that bacteria into her mouth!?

Besides bacteria, waxed flosses lose their wax after one use!. This is why people who floss with waxed floss have to use more than one section of floss!. Your wife is actually hurting her teeth by using floss with no wax to prevent friction!. The unwaxed kind pops into place, risking cuts to the gums, whereas waxed eases into where it needs to go!.

Tell you what!. If you want to be so tightwadded, why don't you try a little experiment!. Let HER wax first!. Wash her strand just like you do your own!. Try it for about a month, then see how YOUR teeth look!

You think you're saving money, but in the long run, you're wasting it!. By refusing to spend the extra $3 or $4 a month, all you're doing is allowing your wife's teeth and gums to deteriorate, thus giving you an added bill, which can be one lump of hundreds or thousands of dollars!. And, if you forego getting her teeth fixed to save yourself that, you risk her health!. Research shows that allowing dental problems to go unchecked can cause major health problems!.!.!.such as blood stream poisoning and heart problems!. What's more important!? Saving a few bucks, or having a healthy wife!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

no it is not ok, just like it is not ok to let someone else use your toothbrush after its rinsed off!. we all have bacteria that grows in our mouth, on our tongue and on and between our teeth everyday, all day!. it is not very hygienic to share these things, or reuse them!.
even though you may have good teeth, either one of you could develop underlying problems!.

Please don't share or reuse!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not good at all!. It dosent matter if you rinse them!. The bacteria that you cannot see may cause your wife harm to her teeth and gums!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, its extremely unclean and you're spreading bacteria! Rinsing with water wont get rid of germs!Www@Answer-Health@Com
