Question: Do brases heart and do they look geeky!?
im getting one brase on my top teeth but i wanna now if it hurts and if they look horrible/geeky!. please be truthfull as nomater what you say its too late to cancel anyway as im geting then in 5 daysWww@Answer-Health@Com

In my school braces are cool every one wants to wear them!. And yes,when you just get them your mouth is a little sore,but the pain goes away quickly!.

I'm getting braces as well (actually got part of it today) it does 'hurt' it's a bit of a dull ache and it's quite hard to eat as pressure will increase the pain a little (not much but you feel it a bit more)

Your teeth will ache a bit afterwards, and you have to get accustomed to them!. What hurt me when I had mine was the wire changing!. Taking out the wire felt could but putting in the new one hurt!. Then if they didn't turn the ends of the wire down enough so it didn't poke, you have that problem!. I still have some scars where the wire cut me!.

I just got mine yesterday (top and bottom)!. They didnt hurt at first but now its a little annoying, more like a dull ache then actual pain!. The only time they really hurt is if you press on them!. They dont look that bad either!.
But ill tell you one thing, they suck because its hard to eat with them!. Like it takes an hour for me to eat soup lol!.

i have had braces for the past 18 months! (getting them off in february)
and i have never been told im 'geeky', but i have been told i look COOL

braCes don't look geeky!. So many people have them now that they aren't considered geeky because the so called "popular" people have them too!.
