Ok about a year and a bit ago i got my braces off!.!.!. i had them on for about 2 years!.!.!. everything in my mouth was fine until half way through i started getting lockjaw!.!. in my xrays it showed i have wisdom teeth coming through!.!. can you please tell me if its my braces or my wisdom teeth coming through!. also i had 2 metal rings put on my top teeth when i had braces and now they are sore and sensitive and starting to go moudly!.

It sounds like TMJ, where your jaw isn't quite set right in it's joint!. It causes lockjaw and pain!. It's very common, talk to your dentist!. I don't believe the lockjaw has anything to do with the braces, but definitely mention the "moldy" part too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Unfortunately, you really need to talk to an oral surgeon!.
If your teeth have moved after you've had your braces taken off (even if you've been wearing your retainer) might be a sign you jaw might have continued growing and moved everything out of alignment again!. Your jaws not growing in alignment can also be a cause of several different problems, including lockjaw!.
Firstly, though, you need to get those wisdom teeth out! I don't think they're the cause of anything, but having them prevents/complicates a lot of different treatments!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
