Does having stitches over your wisdom teeth extraction lessen the chance of a dry socket!? Or is the risk just about the same without stitches!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It lessens the chance because it is sewed shut!. I have had all 4 of my wisdom teeth out and the doc said dry socket should not be a problem!. But when I had a tooth pulled there was just a big hole there so the risk is much greater!. Hope this helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com
