dont worry im 18 and im getting braces in the next few weeks! loadss of people have braces, most people wont even notice honestly!.
stick to soft foods and no chewing gum! ive also heard that bread gets stuck in your braces very easily and is hard to get out!.
avoid the obvious colours that wouldnt look good on teeth (yellow, green, black etc!.)
i think light pink or colours like that would go with your hair!.
take one of those little brush/toothpicks to school with you and everytime you've eaten something check in a mirror (in the bathroom) to make sure theres nothing in your teeth!. also if i was still at school id probably take a small bottle of mouth wash with me to school so after lunch i could rinse my mouth in the bathroom, but i know what its like at school u might not want to do that infront of your friends lol but its better to do that and have clean braces & minty breath instead of your lunch stuck in your metal! xWww@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't be worried because I remember a ton of kids had braces in HIGH SCHOOL!. You might want to eat soft things at first!. But after a while, I act pretty much everything!.

But don't get the colors green or yellow or orange, because obviously, it makes you look like you have gross teeth!.

And every time after I ate, I would feel like every little spot and make sure there wasn't in food in there, but that was because I was paranoid!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have them now so buy anything your in the mood for lol!. like 5 minutes before the bell rings i go to the bathroom to check my teeth and use like scrubber things or a tooth brush to get it out and if you dont have that use a pencil lol umm avoid dark colors it will look like u have food in it and red it will look like your gums are bleeding and i have peral white and peral green its purdy lol um can u answer my question about braces lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

Both my boys both wore braces, at the same time!. At first they hurt alot, and then whenever they were tightened!. Ask Dentist about pain med, for when they do hurt!. Also ask him about eating when they are sore!. Brush your teeth after eating so no food sticks in them!. Colors are cool, they would follow holidays, like Halloween,Black and Orange, things like that!. It's better you get them now,it would be tougher later on!. They will look fine, don't worry!. Just keep in mind how straight and white they will be when your done!. I kept asking my boys to smile over and over again just to see their gorgeous teeth!. They were like oh Mom ! I said hey I paid all that money so you would have great teeth, I will ask you to smile and reap in the reward!. LOL !! They both have movie star teeth now!. You will do fine!. Good Luck !!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i always keep one of those little tooth pick type things with bristles on it in my pocket and if i feel like i have stuff in my teeth i go to the bath room and pick it out; as for food at first you may want to eat softer food like potatoes, soup, and sandwiches with the soft bread; and colors dont really matter i just picked a color i wear the most but i hear you should stay away from clear as they turn yellowWww@Answer-Health@Com
