Two teeth filled, how long does pain last?!

Question: Two teeth filled, how long does pain last!?
I had a two teeth filled at 1:00 today (about 6 hours ago), one was my upper left molar and the other was my front tooth!. It looks as if they used white on my front and the silver-ish ones on the molar, also I think they filed my teeth!. I've been having pains and I don't have the money to go back to the dentist and see what's wrong!. My question is, is it normal to have pain after having fillings and how long will the pain last!? If it's not at all normal, what could be the problem!? Is there anything I can do to make it not hurt as much!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If the fillings were very deep then they could have gone close to the pulp chamber and irritated the nerve of the tooth!. This mostly settles down after a day but in some cases the nerve can swell up and you may end up needing root canal on the tooth!. Your dentist should have told you if the filling was very deep and if you should expect pain from it!. Take some painkillers (ibuprofen if you have it as it is an anti inflammatory) but any painkiller will do and if it hasnt settled by the morning then you may need to go back to the dentist im afraid to say!. Hope you feel better soon xWww@Answer-Health@Com

your fillings are to high and may need to be adjusted!. When you get fillings done it is normal for your bite to be high and this will cause pain until you go back and get an adjustment!. They should not charge for you an adjustment!. Also it is normal to have some slight discomfort and sensitivity for a few months after fillings!. Hope it gets better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should call your dentist if you have a lot of pain!. He won't charge you for a phone call!. He can advise you about pain medication or call in a prescription for you!. If you have infection you will need antibiotics!.

I always have some soreness after a filling but it goes away by the next day!. I take ibuprofen for mild pain, but I will not suffer much! I always call and ask when I need something stronger!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
