the gum infection answer is right on!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.floss, rinse with hydrogen peroxide, and SPIT IT OUT,,,then rinse with plain water,,,,,,,,do this regularly,,,,,plus,,,,,have a good teeth cleaning!,,,,,
nightguards are great, but of all the bruxism cases I ever listened to, I never heard them say their teeth got loose!.!.!.!.!.!.just hurt,,,,,
The periodontal (gum) problems, do actually make your jawbone recede, (resorb, I think is the word)----it's like a tree planted in the ground, and the rain washes away all the dirt around it,,,,,the tree falls over,,,,,seriously,,,,,,that's why some people aren't candidates for implants,,,,,their jawbone won't hold the tree!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it could be a sign of gingivitis or another serious periodontal disease,
Long-standing gingivitis can turn into periodontal disease!. There are a number of types of periodontal disease and they all affect the tissues supporting the teeth!. As the disease gets worse the bone anchoring the teeth in the jaw is lost, making the teeth loose!. If this is not treated, the teeth may eventually fall out!. In fact, more teeth are lost through periodontal disease than through tooth decay!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

probably grinding your teeth at night!.

Go to the dentist and get a night guard!. it will prevent you from grinding your teeth!. mine is made of flexible rubber and prevents me from doing what you are doing and that in itself will help you sleep better!. If you don't get this done your tmj ( short for what's wrong with your jaw )will get worse and you will run the risk of possibly locking your jaw up even for a short periodWww@Answer-Health@Com

You may be grinding your teeth in your sleep or unconsciously doing it while your awake!. Grinding your teeth wears down the enamel surrounding your teeth making them more sensitive!. Book an appointment with your Dentist to see if he can give you a mouth guard to wear while your sleeping!. He/She would be able to better inform you of what's going on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
