Question: How do i get rid of an infected red flappy thing that overlaps my tooth!?
I woke up this morning and that little flappy thing was hurting so much!. I know its infected!. How can i get rid of it!? It hurts so much!. My ear hurts and my head hurts as well!. I've been using this mouth rinse called PerioGuard i got this when i last went to the dentist!. Is there something else i can use!? I don't get why this happened im always cleaning my teeth!. HELP PLEASE!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to see your dentist asap, it sounds as though you have pericoronitis (inflammation around the tooth due to infections)!. Depending on what the infection is, they may clean out the area of infection, they may place a medication down into the area and/or they may prescribe antibiotics for you take for a week or so!.

I'm not positive, but it sounds like you are describing an operculum!. A piece of gum tissue that can sit on top of the tooth (usually a molar)!. If that is what it is and you are constantly having problems with it, your dentist can easily remove it!. See the link I posted belowWww@Answer-Health@Com

you probably have something stuck in there!. i would try listerine antiseptic!. you could use some anbesol to get rid of the pain!. but rinse with the listerine (brown one) several times a day !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

just had this condition!.!.!.rinse with warm salt water and then hydrogen peroxide, 2-3 days should take care of it!.!.!.!.!.!.if not see dentist for amoxicillin!.!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
