My lower left wisdom tooth is coming in and it feels FABULOUS!. Psyche!. It hurts so bad i want to try to dig it out with a screwdriver!. The pain is sporadic, and non-centralized; I have myself an appointment with a dentist in alittle over a week, but apparently the initial appointment is only to evaluate my molar's situation!. I suppose I'm curious to know:
a) If i choose not to get this wisdom tooth taken care of, how long can i expect it to cause me pain for!?
b) Is a platypus a bird or a rodent!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

1) Your dentist is probably going to take a look at the inclination and angle of the tooth to determine whether a: its path of eruption is not blocked by anything, and b: if your jaw has enough space to accommodate the newcomer!.
Regarding pain, well that's very subjective depending on the individual and the situation inside your mouth, so if you decide not to get "this wisdom tooth taken care of" then no one can say exactly how much and how long it'll hurt before it erupts!. Your dentist will prescribe you anti-inflammatories and painkillers to smooth out the ride!.
Also you may not have a choice regarding whether to keep the tooth or not!. If its compacted, then it has to come out, no discussions there!.
2) Member of the species echidna, sub-member of the species monotremes (which are mammals that lay eggs)!. Its not a rodent, its actually related to ant-eaters!. Go figure ;)

You may have to conduct surgery on your wisdom teeth!. What I mean by surgery is they will put you to sleep or numb your teethe and pull your wisdom teeth out!. My patients have gone through this and they feel better!. You do not have to have the surgery but it may cause pain, and jaw misplacement!.
