Tips for braces ?!
Question: Tips for braces !?
I am getting top braces Feb!. 3 I have had a herbst for 1 1/2 years !. ( google it ) Any tips to minimaize the pain !? Also , what will the procudure be like !? ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Hey hon, okay so the only thing i can think of that would help minimize the pain would be to make sure you take ibuprofen or Tylenol BEFORE you go in to get your braces on and any time you go into get them tightened!.
The procedure is super easy!. They will put cement like glue on your teeth and then stick a small bracket on that!. This part was completely painless for me (i had braces when i was a freshman in high school!.)!. They will then put a wire that attaches all the brackets to each other!. For me the only part that hurt was afterwords when my teeth started moving and they were just sore, but if you take some pain killers beforehand it helps alot!
Okay colors DO NOT i repeat DO NOT get any colors like yellow or Grey they tend to make the persons teeth look yellowish or dull!. I think that the best colors are hot pink and dark blue or purple and blue but that's just my opinion!.

when i got braces, it really didn't hurt!. just stay still and even though a lot of times, the stuff tastes disgusting, just close your eyes and think of other things!. if you can, listen to your ipod or have a friend or family member talk to you!. my new orthodontist has video games, too!. even though i'm a girl i'd still play them if they had them when i got my braces on, because it is so boring!.

They will hurt for the first day or two or three!. They will also feel weird because your mouth is not used to it!. Eventually you will get used to it!. If you naw on something soft, like a pillow (weird but helps) it will feels a little better!. The procedure is like 45 minutes and they put this glue in your mouth that tastes like crap!. The procedure is not painful, but when you are done your teeth feel weird!. For colors, get Blue or Red or Green!. I prefer green but you can change every appointment (approx!. every 6 weeks)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i didnt bother googling a herbst so im assuming its sumthing painful;)
Anyway, i have braces also, and i cant stand no pain at all!.
when you first get them, they will feel awkward, and then it will soon start to hurt, for about a week or 2 you will be in a lot of pain but dont worry!.!.heres what u can do!.
1!. Put ice in a towel and place it against your mouth(alongside your jaw) keep switching sides and do NOT keep it there for a long time!. its not gonna be good!.
2!. use wax(they will probab!. give it to u!. put the wax on your braces and it will help
3!. take motrin to relieve pain it helps a lot
4!. you oculd also keep a hot packet of water on your mouth(dont do it after u put the ice pak!!) and it will also take off some pain!.
Dont worry, you'll get used to it!. I cants stand pain, cuz one day when i got my foot stuck in my bike, i couldnt get it out and i was freaking out but even for little pain i cant stand it!.
you'll be ok, cuz if i(of all ppl!) can stand it, i know for a fact u will be able to withstand it!!

im 12 and ive got braces they hurt soo much the first night you get them but my mum gave me nurothen to stop it hurting,, most of my friends got blue and pink but you can have patterns like pink and white or soome thing like thatWww@Answer-Health@Com
i had the herbst for 10 months but i got my top braces when i got my herbst!. the braces will hurtworse then the herbst ever did so take son tylenol,advil Etc!. i have hot pinkWww@Answer-Health@Com
