A question about sliding scale fees, dental clinics, etc.?!

Question: A question about sliding scale fees, dental clinics, etc!.!?
I have no dental coverage!. I went to see a dentist on Monday and the work that it would cost to see him is almost 8,000 dollars, obviously I don't have that!. I'm thinking about going to a dental clinic around my area!. I was just laid off in the end of Dec!. I literally have 8 dollars in my bank account!. I made 13,500 last year!. I don't qualify for medicaid!. I was wondering if anyone could give me more information about dental clinics!. Do they generally give good quality care!? How much of a percentage, on average, would I pay on a sliding scale fee with my income and lack of employment!? Is there anyway that I could get work done free or close to free!? I can't wait the 6 to 8 weeks to go to a university, I seriously need help now!. Please, only serious answers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Most low income dental clinics will do the treatment at a reduced cost to you!. However many times they do not provide the more costly services that a private dentist would!. For instance if a back tooth needed a root canal and crown the clinic may only do an extraction for the same tooth!. If many teeth needed root canals and crowns which can be very expensive the low income clinic may extract the same teeth and make you a denture!. The care you receive will be good in general!. I cannot quote exact fees, these will vary from clinic to clinic!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
