Question: For those who have had ORTHOGNATHIC SURGERY or know someone who has it, please answer this!?
Hello I'm in my mid 20s!. I have met with my maxillofacial surgeon and orthodontist!. They have both come to the conclusion that I need oral surgery in both of my jaws!. ( i have a cross bite - my upper didn't grow out as it should have)!. My oral surgeon i need both of my jaws moved so the work won't be compromised!. I'm really scared of the surgery!. I know this surgery will improve my looks and my bite!. But I get scared thinking of what may happen when i get older( i dont wanna suffer from pain) !. I know there's a chance of losing sensitivity on both lips (less than 8%)!. My question is, has anyone here has had this type of surgery or know anyone who has!? Do you regret it, and was it worth it!? I currently don't suffer from any pain!.!.!.!.and dont want to start after the surgeryWww@Answer-Health@Com

just think about how great you'll look and feel AFTER the surgery! i heard it hurts a little during and after the process but you'll be thankful in the long run!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
