Should an impression of a tooth be taken before starting a root canal?!
Question: Should an impression of a tooth be taken before starting a root canal!?
I had a root canal done on a tooth a long time ago!. But now it is infected and needs to be cleaned out!. The tooth in question was cut in half(above the gum line) , have a metal base plate, and then a fake tooth on top!. But if dentist starts drilling through the fake tooth on top!. I think there is a chance of cracking it!. So shouldn't the dentist take a mold of it before starting the procedure to clean out the root canal!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
