Question: I just got braces on!.!.!?

Use kid's tylenol before the braces are painful, drink plenty of water with tylenol!. Put wax on your braces BEFORE you have an ouchy!. If you wait until you get a sore, it will take a long time to heal, even with wax on your braces!. My son put wax on many of his brackets for the first couple of days, and never got a sore!. His friend who got his braces on the same week didn't use wax before getting sores and it was painful!.
My son's braces were comfortable after a couple of days!. His teeth don't need to move much, but even so, I could see a difference in a couple of weeks!. When he gets his braces tightened, sometimes he feels a little discomfort for a short while, but not a big deal!.
