I have just got braces. What can I order tonight at the Restaurant?!

Question: I have just got braces!. What can I order tonight at the Restaurant!?
I have just got braces and am still very weary of their strength as I have only had them for around 6 hrs!. Problem is that tonight I am invited to a restaurant with friends & really do not know what to order! = (
My braces are those with studs stuck to the front of the teeth and a metal wire connecting them to each other!.
The biggest problem of them all is that I have spacing 'pillows' at the back of my teeth of filling so as not to hit the metal pieces with my teeth!. Thus I can chew practically nothing if not on these 1 tooth pillows!.

PLS HELP!. MUST BE THERE IN ABOUT AN HOUR!!!! = SWww@Answer-Health@Com

Congratulations with the new braces! I have been into braces for about 2 1/2 months now and had the little pillows for the first week!.
Chewing a real challenge!. I agree with the others, stick to the soup! Maybe a side of mashed potatoes!.
A word of caution - I made the mistake of eating curry (my favorite) a couple of nights ago and the curry stained the bands immediately!. On the up side - the bands are changed with adjustments!. You'll avoid the yellow, stained bands if you avoid the foods that stain - coffee, tea, red wine!.
Have fun tonight!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would recommend not getting anything that requires alot of chewing!. Try drinking plenty of fluids!. I would get something like soup!. Anything like that would be the easiest to eat!. Make sure to take a painkiller, like Aleve or Tylenol, as well!. Good luck! =] The soreness will go away anywhere from a couple of days to a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have braces!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My #1 recommendation would be to have some really good soup!. Also, if you can eat it, try pasta, some REALLY soft bread, and of course, something to drink!Www@Answer-Health@Com

you could order some normal food like mashpotatos, or mac and chees, or just anything your comfortable with eating that isn't hard or chewy!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pop a few IB profen (or any pain reliever) and order soup! Trust me that will help!. I was on a soup diet every time my braces got adjusted!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
