Can a child wear an adult night guard?!

Question: Can a child wear an adult night guard?
Okay,

I am 12. My parents and my brother tell me I grind my teeth in the middle of the night. I was going to purchase one at Walgreen's. I looked up night guards and they all say- DO NOT USE IF UNDER 18. All of the kid's ones are on sports. Would it be okay if I used the adult Night Guard?

First of all, 12 year olds should not be on yahoo answers and should not ask health questions.
Call your dentist and ask, he might be able to give you a child night guard too.

You need to visit a dentist to establish if you have a problem. If you are harming your teeth with grinding you will need night guard made purposefully to fit your mouth and teeth. Otherwise you could make more problems

lots of kids grind their teeth...it is very common. Children don't usually get bite guards because they are still growing and the guard won't fit in a short while

I am a dentist

Show me a pic, then i can determine whether if it's okay
