Can't stop pushing my teeth hard together?!

Question: Can't stop pushing my teeth hard together?
I keep pushing my teeth really hard together, and they hurt a lot. I don't even realize I'm doing it at the time though. It's usually when I'm concentrating on something, or frustrated. I'm scared I'll shatter my teeth one day. Is this a habit?

Answers:

you should try chewing gum while you're working hard on whatever you're doing i've done that too and it does hurt i call myself manually closing my teeth together but it doesn't work the only thing it did was make my gums bleed and sent me to tears (i was little then) but yes that's a horrible habit and you should try something else.

That's really hard on your teeth. :/ You can buy these things that you put in your mouth that form to the shape of your teeth, like a retainer. They are thick and prevent your teeth from grinding together in your sleep, which is when it usually happens to most people. I can't remember what they're called for the life of me, but where I live they are available in any drug store, so just ask a staff member and they could probably point you in the right direction. :)
You should go see a dentist to see if they have any answers for you to prevent you from doing it during the day.

this is a habit ur teeth won't shatter try gum
