How much does braces cost?!


Question: How much does braces cost?
I'm 15, and my teeth are very very crooked my tenncare denied paying for my braces (go figure) so now I have to pay it my myself. and I just wanna know how much braces would cost? , for both bottom and top and if I had a payment plan how much would I have to pay monthly?

and can they put on braces without cutting out your wisdom teeth? , because my denist wanted to have my wisdom teeth cut out and then me get braces, but my insurance denied my wisdom teeth too and i'd rather have braces first so my teeth can get fixed asap.

Really depends on the dentist. I have braces now top and bottom and when all is said and done the total will be just over $5000. My dentist wanted $1000 down and I still have my wisdom teeth. I am on a payment plan and pay $200 a month. And that isn't including the monthly office visits. Your best bet is to talk it over with your dentist to see what they are willing to do for you. They are expensive. With insurance they cost around $2,000. Without insurance $5,000-7,000. They will put you on a monthly payment plan, if you pay in full, they will give you a small discount
