pretty bad pain in my jaw and ear?!


Question: Pretty bad pain in my jaw and ear?
im 15 years old it just came on like a week ago. i can barley fully close my mouth[like how you can use you muscles to push down on the teeth] i hear clicking on my left side when i move my jaw[ only side that hurts] not on the right side my ear hurts pretty abd also. its to far from my teeth to be a tooth problem however i have looked it could still be wisdom teeth coming in? im not sure please help if you can. thank you

Omg I'm having the exact same problem right now! Except mines on my right side of my mouth, I'm pretty sure it's ny wisdom teeth but idk!!!! Im having my mom take me to the dentist tomorrow to. See for sure, I'll let you know if I hear anything :) weird that it's completely exactly the same !

Hello my friend..tell you what..you need to have your jaw and teeth x-rayed to make sure it's not your wisdom teeth or some other issue. What you describe could be one of many issues that could cause what your feeling, and between a visual examination and an Xray, you can be given a diagnosis and a treatment plan. It sounds like temperomandibular joint pain, or TMJ. You should see a dentist.
