To all the dentists out there?!
Question: To all the dentists out there?
Answers:
You will not likely find an oral surgeon who will accept payments. You can expect a fee of $500 or so for the first 30 minutes of anesthesia and the price is compounded every 15 minutes after that by a set rate per office.
So it can be quite expensive. Try to get it out without the iv sedation if you want to save a lot of money. It's not that bad. You do feel a lot of pressure during extractions though.
I am a dentist
The cost will vary from office to office, as well as the willingness to accept payments, which most will not. I know it's scary to have to have a tooth cut out, but the worst part will be the numbing. Honestly, you will be in and out in no time. From numbing to leaving, I would say no longer than 15 minutes unless the dentist is running behind. It will take you longer to get put out and woken up than the entire procedure will take. Save your money and buy yourself something nice.
