Question: What do herbst appliances feel like when they are being put on?
how much pain is felt when they are being put on? 1-10?
do they acctually have to bolt anything into ur tooth or jaw? or is it just bolted onto the cap they put over top?

basically caps are put on your back top and bottom teeth. they attach the screws (to the caps) which are hooked onto metal bars connecting the top and bottom teeth together.
i never had one, but my friend did. she said that it doesn't really hurt when its being put on. but it does become sore later (she said probably like a 5...but of course everyones pain tolerance is different)

Basically , I am heard about herbst appliances but i have no any experiences. My anti did, she said that is really painful but it profitable.
