What is the best toothpaste? Have you had a problem with Crest pro health?!

Question: What is the best toothpaste? Have you had a problem with Crest pro health?
I started using Crest Pro Health toothpaste a few months ago. In just a few weeks I noticed a lot of build up on my bottom front teeth by the salivary glands. This is a place I brush a lot. I stopped using it when my mother in law gave me some small sample tubes of another toothpaste and the build up went away. Recently I ran out of the sample tubes and started using the Crest Pro Health again. The build up is back and it seems the more I brush with this toothpaste the worse it gets. I do have a dentist appointment next week to get them cleaned! So has anyone had this problem with this toothpaste and what is the best kind you have found?

Answers:

Ive not actually tried the one you've had problems with but to answer the second part of your question, I would recommend Arm and Hammer Brilliant sparkle gel. I find it is superior to the many others I have used and precisely for the purpose you require, teeth feel really clean and actually look very shiny. I also like Blanx.

I prefer one without fluoride but instead with Xylitol. Research has shown that Xylitol will prevent cavity. xylitol is a natural sugar-alcohol (from birch trees), that is sweet tasting, but cannot be metaboliszed by bacteria for food. Therefore no harmful acid is produced, no cavity from eating them.

Follow the link below for the toothpaste with xylitol.

I've never had a problem using Crest Pro Health but it sounds like it doesn't work well for you. I usually use Colgate Total and that works really well.

I did notice that Crest Pro health mouthrinse foams up way too much for me.

You may be one of those people who simply has a bad reaction to that particular brand..it happens. Go to one that doesn't react in the same way.
