Why do my teeth hurt sometimes?!

Question: Why do my teeth hurt sometimes?
For the last few years, I've been getting occasional mild aches in my teeth. it only happens to one tooth at a time. It's not always the same one, but it's usually somewhere in the back. I see the dentist regularly (every six months) and they always say nothing is wrong and that I have great dental hygiene, so why do my teeth hurt a little sometimes if it's not cavities?

Answers:

It can be hereditary, but usually it's from sensitive; teeth, gums, and or nerves. Most people have sensitivity in their teeth, but some worse than others. They make toothpaste for sensitive teeth. But a lot can be from the temperature of foods and drinks that humans consume; cold or hot.

It's possible you have a gum infection. You should see your dentist again and let him know whats happening to you. Sometimes an X-ray is needed to get a good idea of what's really happening inside your mouth. Try using an antibacterial mouthwash until then. :-)

Maybe you just have sensitive teeth try using sensodyne toothpaste. Might help.
Good luck x
