My jaw keeps going out of place at night?!
Question: My jaw keeps going out of place at night?

If it really is annoying, bring forward your dental appointment. You may need a dental guard. This is a thing that holds your teeth in the right place as you sleep. Dislocated T-joint is a very common problem but only a few people need something to correct it. You may be one who does.
I would bring your dental appointment forward. It sounds like you are grinding your teeth in your sleep and causing the jaw to pop out. This is called a temporal mandibular joint problem or TMJ and you should be able to get a mouth guard for it. It may also help if you do some massage around the jaw area before sleep. And also exercise it by putting your hands under your chin and opening your jaw against the force or your hands. This stimulates the opposite muscles that you use to clench and grind and should help.
I am a dental nurse
i have the same problem and you should really get it checked out. its called TMJ and its not a good thing . i don't know specifics yet cause i just found out recently i have it but it can get so severe to where you won't be able to eat during the day or even open your maouth very wide. in the mean time try to eat softer foods and not open your mouth wider than you have too and don't "pop" it in and out of place on purpose. this will help slow things down a bit.
