I have that, the doctor said I have "crypted tonsils". What he explained is that my tonsils have little holes, or crypts, in them and dead skin and the like that is in what drains down the back of the throat from the sinuses gets caught up in them. They are harmless but annoying.

I'd go to the doctor, this sounds somewhat like the early stages of strep throat. Trust me, you do NOT want it. I was sick at home for a week before we finally got medicine for it.

Edit: Nevermind, thought it said my tonsils ARE swollen. But I'd still get it checked out.

If you have a sore throat, you might have strep throat...you should get it checked out

Experience in strep lol ive had it like 4 times this year

They are probably infected and swollen. Gargle with salt water. It really helps.
