My teeth are white for the most part with a tiny bit of yellow tint. I asked my dentist about white strips and she said they are safe to use, but I read they strip the enamel of your teeth. Is that true?

Also, I read you can't swallow while you wear them. Is that true as well?

Okay, I'm pretty sure the enamel stripping is a rumor. If not, I'm sure the damage is extremely minimal. Maybe if you use the strips twice or more a day, I could see how that would be harsh. My brother always used them every other night and that worked fine for him. He gets complements all the time. I believe that the crest professional whitening strips are the kind that really stick to your teeth because I definitely noticed a difference. A few years ago, I had to slurp because you could taste it if you swallowed. With the pro ones they really stay on tight. It takes some effort to get them off. Either way, it's only 30 minutes. Sooo worth it. Goodluck!

Do be careful.If you overdo with the strips and you damage your enamel....it want grow back . I did this and now my teeth are so sensitive.
