I just got my braces on, and everything's fine and whatnot, but they put like this hardened orange colored thing on two of my teeth that prevents me from biting down all they way. It makes it a pain in the *** to try and chew cuz I can't get all my teeth down.
What is the orange stuff? How long will I have to have it on my teeth?

Answers:

Sometimes in cases where you have a server overbite they put bumpers so your teeth do not hit the brackets preventing from popping them off. As treatment starts to align you teeth they will take the bumpers off. Thats the only thing i can think of that your talking about. These are also great questions to ask your orthodontist. They will ALWAYS have the best answer for you.

None of the community can know what preparation your dentist used. Since it is hurting your jaws you need to let your dentist know.I know it shouldn't be hurting and your dentist needs to know.
