Why are the rubber bands on my braces so painful?!?!

WEAR THEM WEAR THEM WEAR THEM! As horribly uncomfortable and ugly they may be they help! I only had to wear my braces for 7 months because I religiously wore my rubber bands! ALSO wear your retainers... It's so worth is.

Personal experience

The reason they hurt so much is because they're moving your teeth in a new direction. After a couple days this feeling will go away, but you'll still need to wear them. The only thing I would advise you to do to help get rid of the pain is to take some ibuprofen or Tylenol if you haven't already taken some.

I used to wear braces

I know what you mean, I have rubber bands too. They hurt a lot but once you wear them a lot you'll get used to them! You can't really get rid of the pain, as far as I am aware... D;

oh i know your pain of having them!!!!!!! they are sooo painful because they are making space in your teeth but i'm sure the pain will go away in a few days! :)

awww i had them there really annoying but dont worry the pain goes away in afew days :]
