Wisdom extraction dry socket?!

Question: Wisdom extraction dry socket?
so i got my bottom right wisdom tooth extracted the 4th since then iv been following instructions.
its been 4 days since then. i can say the swelling has subsided extremely slow.
on the 2nd day when i could open my mouth i saw that one of the stitches came out and i could see
an opening (the socket where the wisdom was). im not sure now if i have dry socket? i feel this mild sharp pain deep in my jaw. 4th day and the swelling/pain still have not gone away.
i have not yet felt pain in my ear or eye nor any discharges from the wound.
im i just over reacting?
will i know if i have dry socket?
what should i do?

I actually had 8 teeth removed 2 weeks ago it took about a week and a half for it to fully go done. Don't worry about the stitches it will fall out on its own but don't force it of course. I had the same pain in my jaw just keep up with your meds. If after a day or so of taking it every 4-6hrs then call the oral surgeon. Make sure you stay with your diet and no straws and I wouldn't suggest Juices try to eat anything outside diet will get food stuck and will cause dry socket be careful!
-If you have any other questions plz ask!
P.S
Drk Sockets hurt alot always keep extraction area clean, Rinse your mouth out everytime you finish eating something and rinse with warm salt water once a day. Its possible to get dry sockets 3weeks after as well!!!

You will know without a doubt if you have dry socket, and if you don't have it by now you most likely will not get it. Dry socket is an incredible and constant pain. Just keep following the instructions and keeping the area clean.
