Question: I have a white spot on inside my throat, what could it be??!!!?
all day yesterday and today i have had an aching hot sore throat, which i thought oh dear - i must be coming down with the cold. when i was brushing my teeth tonight, i noticed that i had a white spot on the right hand side at the back. just wondering if anybody know what sort of thing this is? i also have noticed that my mouth is pretty gluppy - like i always feel like i need to brush my teeth to get away a sort of slimey film that has developed this past week. any help would be appreciated. thanks

You could have tonsillitis, my friend gets it quite a lot, have you noticed if your tonsils are swollen? Here are the symptoms

if it hurts really bad and its stings in your throat whenever you eat something salty or spicy, then you have a virus called herpengina. I would go to the doctor and normally it goes away after 2 or 3 days
(But it is soo painful!!)

That is a pretty common symptom of strep throat. Ask your dentist to be sure of what it is and what to do with it. It could also just be pus from a infection in your throat.

Sounds like you could have strep throat. Google Symptoms of it, and if you have more than one, consult a doctor! Good luck!
