Question: Questions with orthodontics?
Hey everyone! I'm getting my braces off in a couple months, and I have a few questions...
1.Does it hurt when they take them off?
2.How long does it take for them to take them off?
3.When they remove them, will I have yellow spots from where the brackets were? (I really am afraid of this!)
4.Will they emery board my teeth to make them less rounded and without the little juts in them?
5.I now when I first got my braces, it was a bit difficult to eat and even talk at first! Will this also happen when they come off?
6.Will I get my retainer(s) right away? If not, how long after?

It shouldn't hurt but might feel some pressure. Your teeth should not be yellow if you had the proper care during your treatment. It will take about an hr or 2 depending on what all they do. They will use the hand piece to get any left over cement off your teeth n then polish them. They should have your retainers that afternoon or next day.
