Wisdom Teeth and how do you wake up form IV sedation?!

Question: Wisdom Teeth and how do you wake up form IV sedation?
I really want to know how you wake up form IV sedation. When I get my wisdom teeth pulled I want to be put to sleep and then I want to be able to wake up somewhat aware. I've seen that on youtube people have recorded other people while their "high" or whatever. And i REALLY want to avoid. I don't want anyone to record me talking and looking stupid and saying stupid things. So when you wake up from IV sedation you don't wake up "high" right? That's only with laughing gas right?

I went two weeks ago and got my right top an bottom wisdom teeth out & then went this morning to get the top and bottom left out. I go to an oral surgeon and both times I was IV sedated. Both times I woke up as if I had just closed my eyes and everything was over. You do not get a high from the sedation. You may feel a little bit foggy right when you awake but you should not look stupid or say stupid things. I have had laughing gas in the past & that did not make me have a "high" either. IV sedation is the way to go when getting your wisdom teeth out. They give you the IV, next thing you know you awake (which you feel as if you just closed your eyes for a moment) an then they give you a few moments to relax so when you get up you do not become sick from the medicine in the IV. I definitely recommend you get the IV sedation; it's the best method for a fast and pain free dental experience.

The IV diazepam is going to put you out, cold. You won't be talking unless it's right before you drift off, or just as you're coming out of it. Either way, you've got technical control during those moments... so use it wisely.

(And no, you don't really get any sort of "high" from IV diazepam.)

When I got mine taken out I had gas and iv I woke up in a different room lol but once I woke up I didn't feel high I was just really sleepy...

Personal experience

I had to have mine surgically removed as they were impacted. I still have them in a drawer somewhere. I woke up a little groggy but my motor skills were not affected save I couldn't say anything for an hour.
