I have dental insurance through work that covers up to 1500 dollars for dentures!

Question: I have dental insurance through work that covers up to 1500 dollars for dentures?
Also this plan covers 50 for each extraction. The dentist still wants 8000 upfront to begin the work. This sounds a little high to me. For 8000 I feel like I am getting jerked around. I know people who are on welfare that don't work that get this kind of work done for free. How can I find a dentist that i can feel comfortable that I'm not getting ripped off. I just seems that a person who is working and paying for his own insurance should be treated with a little more respect and dignity. I can't afford 8000 dollars for a car but my dentist wants a half of my annual income so I can finally eat a hamburger without pain. It seems to me that when I tell a doctor or dentist or the eye doctor that I have insurance the price gets outrageous. any suggestions would be helpful and if you happen to be a dentist that can work with me that would be greatly appreciated .

health-quotes.talk4fun.net - here is my health insurance plan. As I remember they can provide such a service.

average cost should be around 4500 that includes temp dentures then permanent dentures.Yes you can get it done even lower but then you will be getting a lower grade denture. There is the cost of pan scan, charge per tooth pulled and surgery to pull wisdom (still wouldn't add up to 8000) Would find different dentist if he wants all that up front
