What can I do for swollen gum over my back tooth?!

Question: What can I do for swollen gum over my back tooth?
No, it's not due to wisdom teeth as there are none in the picture. The pain is stemming from that little flap of gum over your molar. It seems to be swollen and it's causing great discomfort. Under my jaw is swollen on that and I can't even close my mouth all the way cause it hurts so much. It doesn't look infected or anything, so what can I do for the pain and to decrease the swelling?

Answers:

Take ibuprofen around the clock and use a moist heat pack 4 times a day 10-15 minutes.
