Question: I found a biggish hole in my tooth! HELP?

Ok so ive had this brown spot on my tooth for about 8months now i didn't think it was anything because it never hurt or was never sensitive. Today i look and its a hole! (I have braces btw) Its a big ugly black hole! what am i going to do? my dad is going to scream and shout at me. and can i have a filling done with my braces on? i would be really embarrassed when they come off and theres a huge hold in my front tooth. PLEASE HELP. AND HOW CAN I TELL MY DAD?

Certainly, the orthodontist would have seen this, so don't panic. Just tell your dad, and let him ask the doctor what is going on?
