No. Sorry, but there simply is no effective substitute for good ol' fashioned flossing!
I "hate" flossing too, but no water pik can really get between the tooth and gum like floss can. If the water pressure was sufficient to do this, it would be so high it would most likely cause pain and/or injure the gums.
It's better than nothing, but not as effective as flossing - never will be, unfortunately.

I think it's better than doing nothing, but you should really floss daily.
