Yes you can. Just be careful because the retainer will be slippery so you don't want to accidentally swallow it. You also won't be able to taste it as well since your palate is covered by the retainer, but you should still taste some from your tongue.

Honestly, it depends on where you have it.
On the top, I'd expect it to slip around your mouth more, since its like a plastic substance.
If its on the bottom, then it most likely wont. Just don't move your tongue around, I guess.

But to answer you question, yes. You can suck on them.. it'll just be tricky.
