You have an abscess. The stuff draining was pus. You need to get it taken care of. The infection can become quite serious if left unattended. Imagine having a large draining infection in your finger. You would get it fixed very quickly before it spread. Same deal with the infection you currently have in your bone

I am a dentist

Well you have an infection and you need to find an emergency dentist to prescribe you a course of antibiotics and then when the infection has settled down the dentist will do a root canal treatment to save what is left of the tooth.

You will get pain and more swelling including facial swelling if you leave this.
And you have had enough warning signals with this to have done something earlier. It has not just appeared out of nowhere.

Best of luck with trying to find urgent care at 5pm on a Friday afternoon.

it depends on how old u r?how old r u? it may be powdery plax! i am a dentist i am studying problems in the mouth at the moment so......just see ur dentist... but i think it is food particles. so brush your teeth after every meal for the time being then vist ur dentist to get it fixed!

hope it helps

Was it painful, if so then it may have been an infection of a cyst. Or it may be an uninfected cyst. If blood came out too then it may indicate an infection too. You definately need to get a filling by the sounds of it.

Abcess - that horrible stuff was puss. You need to go to the dentist before it attacks your nerve and you find yourself in agony. Seriously, go now, you'll regret it if you don't.

Sounds like an abscess to me. I would suggest going to see the dentist who should give you some antibiotics and treat your tooth.

Ick... See a dentist.
